MTGO is a Windows program. Unearth MTGO runs it with Wine, the open-source layer behind many Windows programs on the Mac, and fixes what goes wrong for MTGO there.
Game window
No flicker.
Redrawing no longer flashes the Home screen through the game window.

Maximize and drag on any screen, even one above your MacBook. Dialogs follow their window, and every window stays on screen when you plug in or unplug a display.
Keyboard
⌘C and ⌘V.
The left ⌘ key acts as Ctrl, so copying a deck list works like it does everywhere else on your Mac.

Your Mac stays awake while MTGO runs. The display can still turn off.

Questions
Is this made by Wizards of the Coast?
No. Unearth MTGO is an independent app, not made by or affiliated with Wizards of the Coast or Daybreak Games. You play on their servers with your own MTGO account, as on Windows.
Does it change MTGO?
No. It installs MTGO with Wizards’ own installer and runs it as it is.
What happens the first time I open it?
It downloads the packages needed to run MTGO and sets them up. That happens once. After that, it opens like any other app.
Can I move it to another Mac?
Yes. Enter your key on the new Mac and choose Move It Here. The old one stops using it the next time it opens. A license can move three times in 30 days.
What happens if I cancel?
It keeps working until the end of the month or year you paid for. If you come back later, the app’s Renew button makes the same key work again.
Is there an account to sign in to?
No. Your license is its key, emailed to the address you paid with. If you lose it, we email it again. Your subscription is on Stripe’s own page, where you sign in with that email address.
Does it need the internet?
MTGO does, so you’ll be online anyway. Unearth checks your license each time it starts. If it can’t reach us, it keeps working for up to 30 days.
What about Intel Macs?
They’re supported, but they’ve had less testing than Apple Silicon Macs.
